The Arnold Arboretum, located in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, was established in 1872 by Harvard University and designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect responsible for Boston’s Emerald Necklace and New York City’s Central Park to name a few. The park was intended for the appreciation of plants, horticulture and nature’s vast biodiversity. The tree in this photo is an ancient Chinese Amur Cork Tree, donated to Boston by China, and a source of an important medicinal herb, huang bo.

Image is available in 8”x10” archival prints, mounted on a white 14”x16” acid-free board and mat, ready for framing. All prints are signed and enclosed in a protective acetate sleeve.

$65 includes shipping.
