It is on these tracks that the train nicknamed The Notch Train winds its way through the White Mountains to Crawford Station before returning to North Conway, New Hampshire. Passing through shear bluffs, steep ravines, cascading brooks and streams, over the Frankenstein Trestle, it is obvious what a remarkable engineering achievement constructing this railroad was in the 1870s.
